School management

The School management team is headed by the Principal. The Director of Studies and the Administration Manager are the other members of the core management.

The organisation chart below shows the staff organisation of the School.

Academic and Examination Board Members

The Academic and Examination Boards advise the School management on academic and examination matters. The same people sit on both boards:

  • Ms Marhaini A Hamid, Bachelor of Science, University of London, Diploma in TOESL, Diploma in Education, NIE(NTU)of Singapore

  • Mr Kennedy Albar, Dipolma in Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages, London Teacher Training College

Deployment of teachers

Our teachers are listed below, with a description of the courses they are deployed to teach for the Jan 2012 intake:

  • Ms Siti Zawiah Ismail, Teacher, Bachelor of Arts, University of Wales
    Zawiah teaches the Certificate in International English (Intermediate level) on weekday mornings.

  • Mr Kennedy Albar, Teacher, Advanced Diploma in Teaching English, London Teacher Training College
    Kennedy teaches the Certificate in International English (Advanced level) on weekday mornings and English for the IELTS preparatory course on weekday afternoons.

  • Ms Shiena Piraman Garduque, Teacher, B.A., Bicol University
    Shiena teaches the Cambridge First Certificate in English preparatory course on weekday mornings as well as English for the Preparatory Courses for Admission to Government Schools (primary and secondary) on weekday afternoons.

  • Mr Shahrin Bin Mohamed Ariffin, Teacher, B.A., Ottawa University
    Shahrin teaches the Certificate in International English (Elementary level) on weekday mornings and is the English and Mathematics teacher for the Preparatory Course for Admission to Government Schools on weekday afternoons.

  • Mr Oliver Chan, Teacher B.Eng., the National University of Singapore
    Oliver is the Mathematics teacher for the Preparatory Courses for Admission to Government Schools (primary and secondary) on weekday afternoons.

It ranges from 10 to 15 students per teacher.
