Location and Travel Directions

NYU Language School occupies a number of units in the Adelphi building, situated in the heart of Singapore's civic district. It is surrounded on all sides by some of the important buildings in Singapore - City Hall, the Supreme Court and St. Andrew's Cathedral. Many other distinguished buildings lie within a stone's throw - the Houses of Parliament, Raffles City, Raffles Hotel, the National Library and the Esplanade, to name but a few.

You can travel to the school quickly and conveniently from most locations in Singapore. Below, we provide information on getting to NYU Language Centre by bus and the MRT (Singapore's subway system).

Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Service

The nearest MRT station is City Hall. The Adelphi lies a short 3-minute walk away. Also within a few minutes' walk are a number of bus stops serving North Bridge Road, Hill Street and Stamford Road.

Bus Services

There are two major bus companies in Singapore, Singapore Bus Services (SBS) and Trans Island Bus Services (TIBS). Both companies operate a large number of bus routes along North Bridge Road, Hill Street and Stamford Road, all within walking distance of NYU Language Centre.

North Bridge Road is served by SBS bus services 32, 51, 63, 80, 103, 195, 124, 145, 162M, 166, 174, 174M, 181M and 197 and TIBS bus services 603, 61, 851, 61,  961 and 980.

Hill Street is served by SBS bus services 81, 103, 124, 145, 147, 166 and 174, and TIBS bus services 190, 520, 603, 61 and 851.

Stamford Road is served by SBS bus services 7, 14, 16, 36, 97, 131, 162, 162X and 501 and TIBS bus services 167, 171, 190, 603, 605, 607, 700, 700, 77 and 857.
