NYU Language Centre expect its students to pursue any course they have enrolled in seriously. You must be in class before the beginning of a course session, and stay for the entire session. You are not to absent yourself from any course session. Any absence for all or part of a course session must be for a valid reason supported by relevant documents.

If you attend fewer than 90 percent of the course sessions in any calendar month or are absent for 7 successive days or more without a valid reason, the school is required to and will report your absence to the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority.
